Donors Choose Excitement

I would like to start by saying that I have one of the most fun group of kids in the whole school. They like being up and moving! Sometimes though, this energy can lead to distractions, chatter, and overall inability to focus.
All of this encouraged me to create my first donor's choose project!
Donor's Choose is a website where teachers create projects for their classrooms. They request items that they believe will help their students and anyone can donate to help them get these items.
For my project, I wanted to request items that would keep my kiddos moving in a productive way. Here is what I requested!
Oil Diffuser: I requested an essential oil diffuser and lavender oil to help keep our classroom atmosphere calm for the students to learn in.
Sit Spots: Each student has a sit spot to help me manage where students sit on the carpet and to give them a visual location to sit in for our mini lessons.
Bouncy Bands: These bands are amazing! They attach to the legs of the students' chairs and the students can bounce their feet to their hearts' content!
Fidgets: These little fidgets are simply a marble in a plastic mesh case. The students don't view these as "toys" but (thanks to my impromptu anchor chart) rather tools to help them learn! Check out some stellar students using their fidgets below!

The students love their new tools and I want to thank everyone who helped us get these items. I can't wait to see what the rest of the year has in store!
